The Garlands hires kind, outgoing, and caring personalities, trains for service, and treats their team members as a part of the family. As such, some of The Garlands first dedicated team members remain proud to serve Garlands members today.
Carlo Iaccino, Member Services
Carlo Iaccino first stepped on The Garlands campus 18 years ago with his father-n-law, Tom Bush, who was considering making a move to The Garlands. Tom stayed . . . and Carlo did too!
Carlo’s outgoing personality earned him a position on The Garlands members services team managing emergencies, greeting guests, driving The Garlands town cars and busses, and serving as both central dispatch and a jack-of-all trades for Garlands members and their families.
His unique vantage point—as an employee and a family member—gave Carlo all the encouragement he needed to go deeper with members and get to know them better. “When I ask how a member is doing, I mean it,” says Carlo, the quintessential people person. “The next thing you know we’re sharing highs and lows, pains and struggles, victories, and losses—you name it, we talk about it!”
Of his fulfilling second career, Carlos says, “I feel blessed to be able to support members and their families and learn from Garlands members since they’ve been around much longer than me!”
