Garlands members American Airlines pilot Fred and tax accountant Natalie were “fixed up” later in life by their fraternity brother teenage sons. Taking a risk on love again, the adventuresome Fred and Natalie began dating. A trained Air Force pilot and owner of his own Cirrus aircraft, Fred literally soared with Natalie through courtship, flying to dinner dates and weekend getaways across the country. Natalie confidently sat by Fred’s side in the cockpit to enjoy his bird’s-eye view of the world.
In twenty years of marriage, they’ve since voyaged by air, land and sea to all corners of the globe.

In between jaunts, Fred and Natalie continue to reach new heights – Natalie works part-time, and the couple plans future trips and Garlands date nights on the calendar with friends and family.
